Auto Website Translator is a Chrome extension that translates website and web app interface text. This policy explains what data may be processed when you use the product.

Information processed by the extension

To translate a page, the extension reads visible text from the website opened in your browser. This can include menus, buttons, labels, popups, forms, selected text, and short phrases.

Translation service

Text selected for translation may be sent to a translation service in order to return translated text. Do not translate confidential, financial, medical, legal, or highly sensitive information if you do not want it processed by a translation provider.

Local storage

The extension may store settings and cached translations in Chrome storage to improve speed and consistency. This can include language preferences, auto-translate settings, and repeated short phrases.

Payments

Premium payments are processed by Paddle. We do not store full card numbers or payment credentials. Paddle may process billing details according to its own privacy policy.

What we do not do

• We do not sell user data.
• We do not use translated text for advertising profiles.
• We do not collect passwords or payment card numbers through the extension.
